Virtual Hosting Company has updated the PHP pre-processors on our Website Hosting machines to the following:
- PHP 5.6.35
- PHP 7.0.29
- PHP 7.1.16
- PHP 7.2.4
We’ve noticed significant improvements in the processing of sites running PHP 7 and above and have started encouraging our clients to transition to PHP 7 at a minimum. However, while we do encourage upgrading, we are not forcing our customers to update as there may be compatibility issues with some older software packages (i.e. encoded packages that do not yet support PHP 7 or above).
