Virtual Hosting Company, along with many other hosting providers, have been scrambling to take corrective action for a recently reported OpenSSL HeartBleed Exploit (CVE-2014-0160).  In an effort to mitigate the potential for exploits, we've taken immediate steps to update packages and restart the primarily effected services that would have left the potential for 'eavesdropping' to acquire certain 64k data streams.  While the potential for this massive exploit was great, the immediate response by the Linux Community, OpenSSL Development Team, and our staff has taken the primary concerns away.

At this time, there is still potential for our ZNC and IRCd Solution clients.  We're reaching out to those effected to make sure they are aware of the problem, and we've scheduled a restart of our ZNC Service for the coming morning.  We strongly encourage anyone effected by Heart Bleed to take corrective action as soon as possible to ensure that they're data is completely secured as it should be.

Thank you,
